About Leona Lo
Leona Lo is Principal Consultant of Talk Sense, a Communications Consultancy specialising in healthcare, corporate and beauty communications.
She did her A-Levels at the prestigious Hwa Chong Junior College, Singapore, where she was awarded a two-year Humanities Scholarship.
She graduated from the University of York, United Kingdom with First Class Honours in English and Related Literature.
She was subsequently awarded the Prospects Globe Award by her alma mater to pursue a Master's degree in Qualitative Research Methods.
She is the author of My Sisters, Their Stories, a photo book about transsexuals in Singapore and Thailand, and, more recently, From Leonard to Leona - A Singapore Transsexual's Journey to Womanhood, an autobiographical account of her experiences as a transsexual growing up in Singapore.
